Meryll Pentz & Carly O'Keefe present at NAFSA Regional Conference

Meryll Pentz, Admissions Counselor and Carly O'Keefe, Coordinator of International Services, will present "Square Peg, Round Hole: Fitting F-1 Policies at Community Colleges" at this year's NAFSA Region X Conference in Bolton Landing, NY on October 30.

The presentation addresses navigating the "gray areas" in international student advisement (F-1 visas), and creating office policies as practitioners at the community college level.

SUNY colleagues Jenny Weatherall (Genesee Community College) and Susan Wellington (SUNY Broome) are co-presenters as well.

The presentation was also recently highlighted in the NAFSA Community College Institutional Interest Group newsletter earlier this month.

NAFSA, the Association of International Educators, is the world's largest nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange. They hold a national conference and several regional conferences each year.
