MCC Athletics to Host Coaches vs. Cancer Event Saturday

The Monroe Community College women's basketball program, along with the MCC athletic department, will host three high school basketball games on Saturday, Jan. 16 as part of a Coaches vs. Cancer event.

The Eastridge and Honeoye Falls-Lima JV boys will take to Monagan Court at 4 p.m., followed by the varsity boys at 6 p.m.  The evening will finish with a girls game between Fairport and Rush-Henrietta at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $5 and can be purchased at the door.  Children 12 and under get in for $2.  All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches that empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
