As part of our ongoing Adjunct Faculty Appreciation Series, the TCC will host our next monthly Adjunct Faculty Supper for Success on Wednesday, October 28th; 5:00-6:45pm in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe B). We will serve supper at 5pm and our program will begin at 5:20pm.
This month’s presentation focuses on MCC’s new Academies Model and our High Impact Practices. In this special session, Karen McCarthy (Academies Coordinator) will provide an overview of MCC’s new Academies Model, including the Student Success Network. Alison Albright (High Impact Practices Specialist) will present the evidence supporting the use of High Impact Practices (HIPs) in our classrooms, and several faculty coordinators will be present to provide detailed information about specific HIPs at MCC (e.g., writing across the curriculum, service learning, undergraduate research).
