Adjunct Faculty Supper for Success

As part of our ongoing Adjunct Faculty Appreciation Series, the TCC will host our monthly Adjunct Faculty Supper for Success on Thursday, November 13th; 5-6:45pm in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe B).  We will serve supper at 5pm and then our workshop will begin at 5:15pm.

We have a very special program planned for this month’s Supper: “Discussing the Craft of Teaching in a Deep and Meaningful Way.”  We typically have a 60-70 minute workshop on one topic, but at our Supper this month we are asking attendees to bring a dilemma or challenge they are facing in their classrooms.  It can be anything, as long as it’s related to teaching and learning.  We will have trained faculty facilitators at each table who will lead each small group in discussing each dilemma that is raised.  We will be using structured discussion protocols so that each attendee who raises a problem is helped to think through it.  Our goal is for you to leave the Supper with some practical strategies to address the dilemma you bring.

We look forward to seeing you there!
