Rochester International Council Presents Audra Dion with Outstanding Volunteer Award for Leadership

Audra Dion, Counselor in the Counseling and Advising Center, received the Outstanding Volunteer Award for Leadership from the Rochester International Council at their Annual Awards Dinner on May 2nd.  Audra has been the International Student counselor at MCC since June, 2003. She completed her M.S. in Counselor Education at the State University of New York College at Brockport and her B.A. in Psychology from the honors program at St. John Fisher College.

The Rochester International Council was founded in 1948 and is a non-profit organization of over 450 members. While diverse in its focus, the core program, “Friendship Volunteers,” serves over 200 international college students each year.   These students are provided American hosts who introduce them to the Rochester community and American culture.  Please join me in congratulating Audra Dion on her receipt of this award and for her service at MCC and in the greater Rochester community.
