CSTEP Students Participate in NIH and Other Research Programs


The following six students in CSTEP participated in a research program this past summer through the National Institutes of Health Bridges to Baccalaureate Degree Program at Clarkson and Binghamton universities.

The Bridges to the Baccalaureate Degree initiative provides support to institutions to help students make transitions at a critical stage in their development as scientists. The program is aimed at helping students make the transition from two-year community colleges to four-year baccalaureate programs.

The following four students in CSTEP also participated in a research program this past summer at other national laboratories.

Markeisha Moore   College of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of New Jersey
Mwesi Musisi        Brookhaven National Laboratory
Rinku Singh          Brookhaven National Laboratory
 
Students were selected to participate in these research programs based on their academic achievement and demonstrated potential to enter the biomedical field.
