First Friday at Mercer Gallery Tonight


This evening, take the opportunity to enjoy The Freedom Place Collection exhibit with art lovers, arts supporters and art collectors in the community. The Freedom Place Collection is a major exhibition of rarely seen works of five African-American artists:

WHAT: First Friday, a monthly community-wide gallery night for experiencing art in Rochester and showcasing area arts institutions and artists

WHERE: Mercer Gallery in Building 12

WHEN: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4

DETAILS: Free and open to the public. Sponsored by MCC’s Diversity Council in celebration of Black History Month and as part of the college’s commitment to foster greater awareness and appreciation of diversity and inclusion in society.
