MCC will host the Instructional Technology Council’s professional development audioconference entitled, “Intellectual Property Rights and Ownership of Online Courses,” on Tuesday, October 14 from 2:00-3:00pm in room 3-116. The presenter is: Dr. Stephanie Bulger, Vice Chancellor for Curriculum and Learning Technologies Wayne County Community College District.

Is interpreting the intellectual property rights of online courses relatively new ground for you? Participants in this audioconference will hear the results of a survey of ITC member institutions about their intellectual property rights (IPR) policies and practices, an analysis of their IPR policies, and how case law informs IPR.
