US Dept of Education Reps on Campus to Explore CSTEP Success

The U.S. Department of Education (Office of Vocational and Adult Education) has identified MCC’s Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) as one of the eight most exemplary community college programs in the nation.

Representatives from the USDOE and the Academy for Educational Development will be on the Brighton Campus tomorrow and Wednesday, March 18 and 19 to interview administrators, faculty, staff and students about CSTEP’s success. The research will be used to produce a formal case study and other national resources for colleges across the nation to use as a model program.

Congratulations to all those members of the MCC community who support CSTEP and who contribute to the success of its students.
