All College Days Keynote Event to Feature MCC Alumni

As we celebrate the start of a new academic year and prepare for the thousands of students who are counting on us to help them realize their goals and aspirations, our All College Days program on September 3 will feature an alumni panel sharing their perspectives of MCC.

The panel discussion, moderated by MCC Associate Professor of Geosciences Dan Robertson, will include:

*  Penny Crudup, who earned a liberal arts and sciences degree in 2012;

*  Marcus Elliott, who earned a degree in human services in 2012;

*  Melanie Forshee, who graduated with a liberal arts and sciences degree in 2014;

*  Yenal Kucuker, a 2002 graduate with a liberal arts and sciences degree;

*  Nestarlin Peralta, who earned two degrees — in fire protection technology and in liberal arts and sciences — in 2011; and

*  Dr. Susan Spencer, a 2007 graduate with a degree in biotechnology.

Whether they enrolled at another college or university after MCC or found employment after graduation, the panelists will reflect on how their MCC education prepared them, what at MCC worked for them and what they wish they had experienced.

I hope you will be able to join me at 9:00 a.m. September 3 in the Theatre on the Brighton Campus.

P.S. Would you like to suggest a question for the panel? Send suggestions to <mailto:marcom@monroecc.edu>.
