Money Available for Holocaust and Human Rights Education

The Holocaust Genocide Studies Project (HGSP) at Monroe Community College encourages MCC faculty to seek unique ways to engage students in the discussion of the Holocaust, genocide and human rights. If you are currently teaching a course that covers one or all of these topics and would like to recommend instructional materials for purchase (videos/DVDs, publications, software, etc.), grant money has already been secured through the MCC Foundation and the HGSP. The materials purchased will be kept in the Holocaust and Human Rights Center in the LeRoy V. Good Library (room 2-313).

Please identify the following in your request: your name, course name, description of materials (include ISBN for books), description of goals (how materials will be used) and the cost.

Please email your request by Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003 to Valerie Keller at HYPERLINK "mailto:vkeller@monroecc.edu" vkeller@monroecc.edu. Please contact Barbara Lovenheim at ext. 3243 for more information. Funds will be distributed by the close of the fall semester.
