Would you like to spend some quality time with colleagues this semester? MCC’s Teaching and Creativity Center is hosting a series of “conversations” on Ken Bain’s award winning book "What the Best College Teachers Do" throughout the fall 2006 semester. The TCC fall program will culminate on January 12, 2007 when Bain himself will be on campus to present his ideas at an all-college faculty development workshop. Look for conversation dates on both the Brighton and Damon campuses and join your colleagues in a semester-long discussion about our craft, our students and our community college classroom.
Pick up your complementary copy of "What the Best College Teachers Do" by Ken Bain at the Circulation Desks of the DCC or Brighton Campus libraries. Remember to sign in when you are there so that we can contact you with TCC announcements that highlight related events.
