Dr. Lloyd Holmes Named De Anza College's Fourth President

Please join me in congratulating Vice President of Student Services Dr. Lloyd Holmes who will become the fourth president of De Anza College in Cupertino, California on July 1 (announcement)

After six years admirably serving MCC and extending the College's impact within our community and the SUNY system, Dr. Holmes' contributions are significant. From leading the Student Services Division to participating on the SUNY Food Insecurity Task Force and the MCC Association Board of Directors, Dr. Holmes' has added much to MCC's rich legacy of educational excellence. His vision, innovative approaches, and advocacy for community college students will be missed. De Anza College is gaining a committed and experienced leader.

Conversations regarding permanently filling the role of MCC Vice President of Student Services are ongoing. In the meantime, MCC will conduct an internal search for an acting vice president; leadership and membership of the search committee will be determined. The official posting will be available on the Human Resources' Job Opportunities web page later this week.
