Attention faculty! As you know, MCC is in the process of converting the online learning course management system from ANGEL to Blackboard. This process will take about 12 months; we anticipate that all online, web-enhanced and hybrid courses will be using Blackboard by September 2014.
In the meantime, we know that some of you are still interested in using ANGEL this year and have not yet had training. Therefore, we are offering some web-enhanced ANGEL training this semester. Please contact Peggy VanKirk at HYPERLINK "mailto:pvankirk@monroecc.edu" or x3441 if you are interested in registering for any of the sessions below:
1) The MCC ID team will offer ANGEL training in early November on either 2 Wednesdays from 6:00-8:30pm or one Saturday from 9:30am-noon and 1:00-3:30pm. We require that at least 5 people commit to do this training.
2) SLN is offering ANGEL training AT MCC on the following dates/times - you would have to attend all three workshops to be considered web-enhanced trained:
a. Wed., October 9th from 10:00am-noon and 1:00pm-3:00pm (workshops #1 and #2)
b. Thurs., October 10th from 10:00am-noon (workshop #3)
3) SLN also offers live webinars that you can sign into from your own computer. You would have to attend all three webinars to become web-enhanced:
a. Wed., October 23rd from 10:00am-noon and 1:00-3:00pm (workshops #1 and #2)
b. Mon., November 18th from 10:00am-noon (workshop #3)
