WROC-TV (Channel 8) and WHAM-TV (Channel 13) reported on AmeriCorps’ 20th anniversary celebration in their July 11 news broadcasts. More than 200 AmeriCorps members from Rochester and Buffalo came together Friday for a day of service and celebration. They spent the morning removing litter and debris at Genesee Valley Park and beautifying the Genesee Waterways Center in Rochester. They also shared their reflections on their experiences in the program.
