The Argentine Tango with Agustin “Gus” Ramos and Deborah Anthony

Both Mr. Ramos and Deborah Anthony will perform the art of the dance and then invite the MCC audience for a dance lesson.  The Tango is a dance that everyone can learn regardless if you think you can dance or not.  Gus Ramos has been teaching this dance for over 14 years. He has taught locally for the past eight years, both group classes and private lessons. A musician in his own right, Gus brings a deep understanding of the music of tango and its passion.  Experience the simplicity and enjoyment of the Argentine Tango. Learn the basic dance vocabulary and musicality while practicing walking, balance, posture and proper technique. A simple repertoire will get you dancing right away.

The first 200 people will have the opportunity to sample Argentinean-Style Beef Empanadas,  complements of the Hospitality Club.

When:               Wednesday, October 24, 2012
Where:              Flynn Campus Center Atrium
Time:                 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
