On Thursday, November 10th at the Rochester Convention Center, Beatriz LeBron was recognized as the Runner-up for the Human Service Worker of the Year Award for 2011, by the Federation of Social Workers. Attached is a picture of Beatriz and Congresswoman Louise Slaughter who received the lifetime achievement award. There were many excellent nominations that were submitted from a variety of sources in healthcare, education, law enforcement, business and social work. Join me in recognizing her extraordinary contributions and outstanding service to the community!
