Last week, Faculty Association members were notified of the salary increases that were approved as part of the Board of Trustee’s approval of the collective bargaining agreement between the College and the Faculty Association. Eligible full-time faculty members, both teaching and non-teaching professionals, received the appropriate adjustments and retroactive pay in their last paycheck. Unfortunately, due to the fact that a number of manual modifications to the payroll were required to make these adjustments, the Payroll Department was not able to adjust the pay for adjunct faculty members who are also eligible for the increases.
The Payroll Department is working hard to make the appropriate salary modifications for adjunct faculty members as soon as possible. Adjustments for fall semester assignments should occur in the first March pay period for adjuncts, while adjustments for spring assignments will likely occur in the second payroll in March.
If you have not received the appropriate adjustment in your pay by March 25, 2016, please contact the Human Resources or Payroll Department. Thank you for your patience as Payroll and the Human Resources Department work together to make these adjustments and I am sorry for any confusion that may have occurred.
