Invitation to attend the Connecting, Collaborating, and Celebrating the Art of Teaching Conference on April 16

MCC is included this year in the cohort of upstate SUNY community colleges sponsoring the Connecting, Collaborating, and Celebrating the Art of Teaching Conference.

This means MCC faculty and staff can attend the conference at no individual cost--and this year, it doesn't even require driving anywhere, or submitting reimbursement paperwork.

The keynote speaker will be David Gooblar, author of the Pedagogy Unbound column in the Chronicle of Higher Education and the recent book The Missing Course: Everything They Never Taught You About College Teaching. He is also the Associate Director of the Center for Advancement of Teaching at Temple University and a writing, rhetoric, and literature professor at the University of Iowa.

The CCCAT conference is focused on the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL), ensuring that the voices of community college faculty and staff are front and center in SoTL work.

Want to be part of the MCC contingent on April 16? Please register by April 9.
