ITC Audioconference - Student, Faculty, and Program Use of Electronic Portfolios

MCC will host the Instructional Technology Council’s professional development audioconference entitled, “Student, Faculty, and Program Use of Electronic Portfolios” on Tuesday, March 17 from 2:00-3:00pm in room 3-115. The presenter is Tracy Wright, Nursing Faculty, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.

This presentation will introduce the concept of electronic portfolios (e-folios). E-folio allows individuals, even those limited in their experience with electronic programs, to create Web-based educational and career repositories showcasing achievements and goals. This is a great tool for students and faculty. E-folio can also provide a method for continuously and comprehensively documenting program quality indicators. Programs may choose to highlight credentialing exam results, retention, graduation rates, placement rates, student progress, program objective mastery, program responsiveness and/or evolution.
