Students Earn Leadership Scholarships

MCC awarded student leadership scholarships during a Jan. 28 reception to five students who have excelled in their volunteer commitment to the college.

“These students have devoted their energy to making MCC a better place for all students,” said Susan Salvador, Ed.D., vice president of Student Services. “We thank them for their contributions and congratulate them on their successes.”

The scholarship fund recognizes student leaders on both the Brighton and Damon City campuses and awards those leaders who meet academic performance criteria and complete an assessment of leadership development performance. The $1,000 scholarships can be used toward tuition.
