TCC: Register Your Course(s) for Open Classrooms Week by February 28!

Register Your Course(s) for Virtual Open Classrooms Week by February 28!

What do several faculty teaching chemistry, ESOL, history, surgical technology, and food preparation have in common? They will be welcoming guests into their classes during Open Classrooms Week, March 21-26. If you've been waiting for a reminder or an invitation, here it is: join your colleagues and add your course(s) to the list!

The Open Classrooms concept enables faculty to experience collaborative learning; to be seen and validated in a way that is entirely separate from any formal evaluative process; and to make the teaching you do visible to colleagues in other disciplines. It is also a fantastic way for our collegues from admissions, counseling, advising and other non-teaching departments to see what happens in classrooms so they have a fuller sense of our students' experience. This is a chance to break down silos.

Currently, we only have face-to-face courses. We'd love to have face-to-face, remote and online options available.

Sign up before February 28 to open your classroom door (physical or virtual!) to others.
