MCC Honored by Town of Brighton for Service to Veterans

At this year’s Town of Brighton Veterans Day Ceremony, Town Supervisor William Moehle presented MCC with a proclamation recognizing the College for providing veterans with the support they need to transition from military to civilian life and navigate their collegiate journey. County Executive Maggie Brooks, State Senator Joseph Robach, and Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Morelle were in attendance. They also recognized MCC for its exemplary efforts in providing opportunities and services to veterans.

Dr. Lloyd Holmes, Vice President of MCC Student Services, received the proclamation on behalf of the over 950 veterans served by MCC, and the many faculty and staff who are dedicated to providing guidance to our military students.

The event was held at the Veterans Memorial site at Buckland Park on Westfall Road.
