The New York State Education Department recently awarded the MCC Library $14,772 in Coordinated Collection Development (CCDA) funds. Locally, the ten area colleges (including MCC) received a total of $106,182 in CCDA funding. The CCDA program promotes regional coordination of collection development in academic libraries by providing annual grants based on enrollment to public and not-for-profit colleges, universities, and community colleges.
