We are honored that President Kress has asked us to co-chair the Presidential Inauguration Committee and we look forward to involving the entire college community. To that end, we now call for volunteers (faculty, staff, retirees, students) to help plan and carry out the many important details involved in staging an inauguration. There are five subcommittees that need volunteers:
1. Installation Ceremony Subcommittee
2. Community Service Subcommittee
3. Food and Logistics Subcommittee
4. Hospitality Subcommittee
5. Print and Publicity Subcommittee

If you are interested in being involved in this historic event, please send an email to <mailto:marcom@monroecc.edu> indicating your name, department, subcommittees of interest, and days and hours you are usually available for meetings. (For the latter, please use the following format: Mondays, 9-noon; Tuesdays, 10-2; etc.) Your indication of interest by Thursday, Oct. 8 would be most appreciated.
The inauguration is set for Saturday, April 10. Save the date and we will keep you informed as plans progress.
