Sheila Strong Joins President’s Office

Sheila Strong has joined the President’s Office team as Executive Assistant to the President, a role that serves as a liaison to the internal and external community. Her responsibilities include providing research support, managing special projects, preparing reports and helping to manage the office’s annual budget in addition to overseeing the operation of the President’s Office.

Before joining MCC, Sheila spent 15 years at The College at Brockport, most recently working as assistant to the president.

Sheila is no stranger to MCC: She graduated with an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences-general studies. She later earned a bachelor’s in communication applications, a master’s in public administration and an advanced certificate in nonprofit management, all from The College at Brockport.

Sheila is a member of the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education and The College at Brockport Public Administration Advisory Board.

Please join me in welcoming Sheila to MCC.
