Efforts for Japanese Students and for Japan

Our hearts go out to the many victims and their families who have been personally affected by the earthquake/tsunami that originated in Japan and has caused additional devastation in other areas.   As part of the MCC family, our trained professional counselors and advisors are available to lend support to our students who may be experiencing extreme personal and academic stress surrounding this disaster.   As a faculty and/or staff member, please feel free to make student referrals to the Counseling and Advising Center, Spina Administration Building, Rm. 231 on the Brighton Campus and on the Damon City Campus, please contact Dr. Ann Topping, DC 30-5252.

The student governments on both the Brighton and Damon City campuses are coordinating their efforts to raise funds for relief efforts for the people and areas affected by the disaster.  Please watch for more information in the Tribune later this week as to how you can participate in and/or contribute to these efforts.

Thank you.
