The Monroe Community College athletic program has been honored as a recipient of the 2011-12 NJCAA Region III Sportsmanship Award.
Region III recognizes member institutions that throughout the year exhibit dedication to the honor and integrity of intercollegiate athletics and whose student-athletes and staff display outstanding sportsmanship during competition.
The award was created by the athletic directors from the 26 colleges that make up Region III to recognize their peers who strive for excellence in all areas of athletics.
