Colleen Brennan-Barry, assistant director of college and community relations - Web communications, has been appointed vice president of the Higher Education Web Professionals Association. HighEdWeb is an international body whose mission is “to advance Web professionals, technologies and standards in higher education.” Colleen has served on HighEdWeb’s Board of Directors as marketing chair since 2009, and will serve a three-year term in her new role.
Colleen also recently attended the Association's HighEdWeb 2012 annual conference, where she co-presented "The Care and Feeding of Your Vendor" on vendor-client relationship management, as well as took part in poster session presentations. She has been a member of the conference organizing committee since 2006.
