If you missed last month’s lunar eclipse, Aaron Ballou didn’t. Here is the image Aaron took with a Nikon digital SLR mounted on a tripod, with a manual shutter. Aaron’s was one of 19 images submitted by students in GEO 105 – Astronomy in a friendly class competition. For his clear, detailed image, Aaron received an iron meteorite, recovered from Barringer Crater in Arizona.
