Tools to Succeed with Distance Learning

Have you been putting off registering for summer or fall courses because distance learning has made you uneasy? Looking at those different codes got you confused? Not sure if you can do that math or science class you need to take in a distance format?

Plan to attend a live webinar at one of these dates to get the answers to those questions, and more!

Thursday, 5/21 at 12 pm and 4 pm; Saturday 5/23 at 2 pm.

Chat with Andrea Gilbert from Virtual Campus, Amanda Rampe and Natasja Rudge from Schools @ MCC, Rachel Santiago and Carlo Atene from the math department, and peer leader Jacquelyn DiClemente as they answer questions like:

  • What kind of technology do I need for online learning?
  • What do the codes SLN and RMT mean on the master schedule?
  • How can STEM courses like math and science work in a distance environment?
  • How do students get help in online courses?
  • What academic supports are available at a distance?
  • What are the best ways to be successful in an online course?

Bring any other questions you might have, and we hope to see you there!
