Do you archive your Outlook items?

Now that you have been using Outlook 2003, does it periodically ask you to AutoArchive your old items?

If you reply 'Yes' to archive, Outlook will move your older Outlook items from the Outlook server to a file on your PC's hard drive.  This will free up the amount of disk space used by your account on the Outlook server.  Since this file represents your Outlook 'history' it is your responsibility to backup the file on a regular basis.

To view the archived messages, view the Navigation Pane and click the + sign next to Archive Folders.

To turn OFF the AutoArchiving feature or to control the settings, select 'Tools', 'Options', 'Other' (tab), 'Auto Archive', remove the check in the top box for ‘Run Auto Archive every 14 days’, click OK all the way out.

Do you want to learn more about Outlook Archiving?  We have scheduled some special classes to address this issue.
Call the Help Line, x4357 option 1 and ask to sign up for the Auto Archiving class.
