Meditation and Aroma Therapy at the Downtown Campus

The African American Affinity Group (3AG) and MCC's Wellness Council Present:

Mediation and Aroma Therapy: Em Hotep (In Peace)

Using deep breathing techniques, this session will provide participants a gentle yoga experience in preparation for guided meditation. Essential oils such as peppermint and sandalwood and ancient blends such as frankincense, myrrh, and sweet orange will be used to stimulate the olfactory organs to create a calming environment. The presenter will also discuss personal stress management techniques that can be used in the workplace.

All faculty and staff are welcome to join Certified Yoga Teacher Lomax Campbell for a 40 minute session on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm in the Dance Studio on the 2nd Floor of the Downtown Campus, Room 250.

Lomax R. Campbell, Assistant to the Vice President of Economic Development and Innovative Workforce Services and Interim School Specialist for the School of Applied Sciences and Technologies, is also an active member of the MCC Diversity Counsel and the MCC African American Affinity Group.
