Have You Seen the " Friends" Exhibit Yet?

“Powerful.” “Very emotional.” “A cautionary tale.” These are descriptions from people who have  visited the “Friends” exhibit, currently on display in the Gilman Lounge (3-114) through November 24. The exhibit tells the story of four college students killed in a DWI accident. It is neither large nor flashy, but it packs a tremendous emotional  punch as it documents the lives of these young people and how they paid the ultimate price for poor choices made by themselves and others.

The exhibit is open to the MCC community and the public from 9 am until 7 pm Monday through Friday. A number of groups from MCC and area high schools have visited the exhibit to date. No advance arrangements are necessary, though if you are planning to visit with a group, you may want to check with me to avoid potential conflicts with some large groups who are scheduled to visit.

If you haven’t already done so, please take a few minutes to visit the exhibit. It is an experience that will leave a lasting impression.
