The Global Union International Student Association would like to extend an invitation to faculty and staff to join them on their annual end of the year trip to Washington, D.C.. Washington is currently celebrating the blooming of the cherry blossoms and warm weather. As we start winding down the year, this is the time where we can all take a breath of fresh air for a couple of days.
We will be leaving Rochester on Thursday, April 29th at 4:00 p.m. from MCC and returning Sunday, May 2 at 1:00 p.m. The trip includes transportation by Kemp Motor Coach. You'll have the opportunity to stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington D.C. The tours include:
* The Capitol
* The Smithsonian Air & Space Museum
* White House
* Union Station
* Washington Zoo
If time permits and there is no security shut-down, we will tour the Pentagon and possibly a university in the area.
The cost for faculty and staff is:
$250.00 for a single room
$220.00 for a double room
