This interactive workshop, “Cutting the Lard,” provides tips to help students put their writing on a verbal diet. Students will examine “fatty” writing—where layers of unnecessary words hide strong, smart ideas—and work together to eliminate the “lard” to let those ideas shine. Come join us to exercise your mental muscles and transform yourself into a lean, mean writing machine.
