MCC Students Participate in National Free Comic Book Day

Well...it's that time of the year:

MCC STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, SATURDAY MAY 7th

Students from Thomas Galambos and Franzie Weldgen's Comics & Sequential Arts class will be handing out FREE COPIES of the latest issue of the MCC COMIC BOOK ANTHOLOGY in conjunction with celebrating National Free Comic Book Day this Saturday (May 7th) at the Village Gate's Comic Book Etc. shop at 274 Goodman Street downtown from  11am-4pm.

Free Comic Book Day is an annual effort by the comic book industry to help bring new readers into independent comic stores, promoting literacy for all ages.  It is currently in its' ninth consecutive year.

Join our MCC students along with local comic book artists and writers, and publishers for a day of comic book FUN!  Marvel, DC, and Archie are among the publishers that have created special edition comics specifically printed for this special event.
