The MCC men's and women's basketball teams will host Genesee CC this Saturday on Monagan Court in one of the most anticipated doubleheaders of the season. The two colleges are Western New York Athletic Conference and Region III rivals and have certainly played their share of exciting contests over the years.
To gear up for the games, the Sports Information office is providing some facts and figures about the rivalry leading up to Saturday's showdown.
DID YOU KNOW ... The MCC women's basketball team has an astonishing 114-game home court winning streak. The Tribunes' last defeat in their friendly confines?
Feb. 4, 1998 at the hands of Genesee.
MCC had won 21 straight at home under Head Coach Tim Parrinello before that game. The head coach's all-time home record at MCC is an amazing 135-1.
Be sure to come out Saturday afternoon and support the Tribunes. The women's game starts at 1 p.m., followed by the men at 3 p.m.
