The Village of Scottsville Farmers' Market at the American Legion celebrated its grand opening on June 30. Bob King, Ph.D. (Agriculture and Life Sciences Institute) and MCC student Erik Olsson assisted with the planning, logistics, and implementation of the market.
GROW Monroe, administrated by MCC, also provided resource support and a display table where consumers could learn more about the benefits of buying local.
