This week over 3000 MCC students will be receiving a packet in the mail detailing the Honors Studies courses that they are eligible to take in Fall 2007. I hope you will join me in strongly encouraging your advisees and brightest students to consider taking Honors Studies sections and seminars as they work to complete their degree.

If you or your students have any questions about Honors Studies at MCC, please call me at x3351. We will be accepting student applications through April 13.
Shortly we’ll ask you to help us identify outstanding students. Until then, please encourage your strongest students to check their mail and to think about how Honors classes might positively improve their thinking, not to mention their transfer and scholarship opportunities.
