ETS Technology Training: Microsoft Office 2010

The newest version of Microsoft Office (Office 2010) is slowly making its way on campus .   All brand new computers and any cascaded computers will be configured with Windows 7 and Office 2010.  All learning centers and smart classrooms are targeted to be upgraded to the new version of Office by the Fall 2011 semester.

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and especially Outlook have undergone another face lift.  The look and feel is once again different and each software package has some new features to offer.  If you would like to get a jump-start on seeing what the new version is all about, check out the following resources:

<"file:///M:\MCC\Digital%20Resources\EZRef\Microsoft%20Office%202010> – here you can find manuals and quick-reference cards.

<https://office.microsoft.com/en-us/> - the Microsoft website has short video tutorials, as well as a full training series to help guide you through the new 2010 office interface.  Click on the support tab to get started.  The attached Office2010Support.pdf file has further information for your review.

Office 2010 is installed in the ETS Training Room (11-106B).  If you would like to take the software on a test drive, contact Marie Gibson (x3436 or <"mailto:mgibson@monroecc.edu">) to schedule a time in the training room.

If you are ready to have your PC upgraded to Office 2010, contact the ETS Call Center at x4357 (from off campus call 292-2000 and speak “Call Center” at the prompt) to schedule an upgrade.

Give a look and see what the new software is all about!
