Tour and Information Sessions

The Admissions Office regularly hosts tour and information sessions for prospective students, their families, and community members.  This semester, we have seen a record number of individuals and school groups interested in taking these tours. Year-to-date, over 600 visitors toured the campus compared to a total of 416 visitors for Fall 2010. Tours are very popular when high school is not in session, such as Columbus and Veterans day, and on these holidays we offer morning and afternoon sessions. We have already pre-registered 112 visitors for tours scheduled this Friday, Veterans Day!

Each session includes a general information session presented by an admissions counselor, followed by a campus tour led by a Student Ambassador and concludes with a visit to the residence halls.  Krista Tyner, admissions counselor, coordinates the Tour and Information Session Initiative and supervises the Student Ambassadors.

The Admissions Office is always looking for enthusiastic and dependable students to help with tours.  If you know of an MCC student who is interested on becoming a tour guide, or if you know of a community group interested in visiting the campus, please contact Krista Tyner at <
