Peer Mentors Present Carnations for Cancer

The Peer Mentors invite the college community to participate in their program “Carnations for Cancer” to benefit cancer patients.  This program will be held on Wednesday, April 29th and Thursday, April 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the Atrium of the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center. The Peer Mentors, along with a representative from Carnations for Cancer, will be giving demonstrations on how to make paper flowers.

Carnations for Cancer is a group that provides paper bouquets to cancer patients, who cannot have real flowers, due to weakened immune systems.

Brighten someone’s spirit by making a carnation or two!
