Celtic Surfing


Please join Celtic Society this evening for a screening of BLUE JUICE, the first film in the spring Celtic movie series. The event begins at 6 p.m. and takes place in 12-129 on the Brighton Campus.

Starring Welshwoman Catherine Zeta-Jones, Scotsman Ewan McGregor, and the Cornish coastline, BLUE JUICE is a fictional exploration of surfing life in the Celtic nation of Cornwall, the capital of British surfing.

Throughout the spring semester, you can catch screenings and discussions of a number of Celtic-related films. Each is free, is open to the community, begins at 6 p.m., and takes place in 12- 129.

26 February                EXCALIBUR (Celtic Britain)

19 March                    PRIDE (Wales)

16 April                      CHASING THE DEER (Scotland)

7 May                         SONG OF THE SEA (Ireland)

Celtic Society's purpose is to raise awareness of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales) and diaspora. It aims to share and celebrate Celtic culture with the college community. Celtic Society welcomes all students, faculty, and employees, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.
