The Monroe Community College Foundation is pleased to announce that Betty P. Smith ’82 will be honored during a special luncheon and golf event as part of Alumni Week and Homecoming 2014.
Betty was a returning adult student at MCC in the early '80s and went on to become a counselor in the Counseling, International and Veteran Services Office at MCC. She dedicates a large portion of her time, both in and out of work, to returning adult students.
This luncheon and golf outing will provide an opportunity to celebrate Betty’s long-standing commitment to MCC and her dedication and service to its students while supporting the Betty P. Smith Scholarship for Returning Adult Students.
