Get Moving, Be Mindful, Eat Healthy...Project Zero Challenge Nearing Completion!

Project Zero, MCC Wellness Council's holiday challenge, is coming to a close. Weigh-In's are scheduled for early next week, January 13 and 14. There is still time to get back on track and/or stay on track even after the challenge has ended.

There are abundant resources available for "Project Zeroers" and all MCC employees on the MCC Wellness Council's Resource site. Employees can download the monthly events calendar, get meal planning and nutrition tips in the Health Eating section, find out information to walk the on-campus Labyrinth and so much more. The site is located at: http://libguides.monroecc.edu/wellness/

Project Zeroers were challenged to MAINTAIN their weight throughout the holiday season while adopting healthy habits! They participated in private events that included cooking demos of preparing holiday food, personal group training sessions by certified professionals, juicing, fitness classes and more. At the end of the challenge, Prizes including gift cards from local area businesses will be shared!

The final Weigh-Ins are Jan 13 and 14. The times and locations are:

  • Brighton Campus: Health Services, Bldg. 3-165, 10 am - 1 PM
  • Downtown Campus: Fitness Center, 2nd floor, 2:30-4:30 pm

Wellness Council members will be available to record your weight (confidentially of course!) and let you know how to collect your prize.

Be a Better You! Eat Smart, Move More!
