Important! Post-break Week TCC Conversation

The TCC presents...Remembering the Past, Creating Our Future

Remember when faculty and staff would gather each day in the Faculty Dining Room (the FDR) to share a joke or teaching/learning experience with colleagues?  Eating lunch in one’s office, sifting through email and grading papers was unheard of. The FDR was MCC’s communication hub where senior faculty passed along institutional wisdom and new faculty were brought into the fold and mentored. Let’s recreate those days of lunch and collegiality at this semester’s TCC conversations.  As the College community prepares to embark on a new era with an incoming president, let’s reflect on what we’ve learned from our rich history.   Participants will explore the MCC culture and changes that have occurred over the years in small, informal discussion groups over lunch. (Soup will be provided.)  Facilitators, mostly senior faculty members and retirees, will be at each table to guide discussions.  Help us retain MCC’s institutional memory and join the fun!
