Please be advised that the base wage for Student Aides has been increased from $6.75 per hour to $7.15 per hour. This increase will be consistent with the New York State minimum wage law which will raise hourly rates to $7.15 effective January 1, 2007. The College has made the determination to increase the hourly rate now so that student rates will be consistent for the academic year.
All Supervisors of student employees are urged to monitor budgets since the increased wage rate expends College Work Study awards and budget allotments more quickly.
