Eyal Press, Author and Human Rights Activist, Coming to MCC on Monday, April 7th

Monday, April 7th is the first day of the 5th Annual Enough is Enough Campaign. This year the keynote speaker will be Author, Eyal Press. In collaboration with the Visiting Scholars Series, Campus Activities Board (CAB) and The Civility Project: Making Courtesy Common, MCC is proud to welcome Eyal to our campus.

A thoughtful young writer on issues of morality and politics, Eyal Press is the author of Beautiful Souls: The Courage and Conscience of Ordinary People in Extraordinary Times, a revelatory study of moral courage. On stage, he looks at the surprising factors that cause ordinary people to behave ethically – to stick to their conscience, to defy the sway of authority and convention – even when thrust into compromising situations.

Don’t miss this kick-off event on Monday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, Monroe A & B. Tickets are $7.00 for General Public but FREE to MCC Students, Faculty and Staff. TICKETS are required. Go to "http://www.monroecctickets.com".
