Rosanna Yule Moderates Panel Discussion on Race Relations in Rochester

Rosanna Yule, Marketing and Community Relations, helped plan and moderated a panel discussion for Leadership Rochester’s “Building Common Ground Day” on January 9, 2015 in downtown Rochester. The discussion, entitled “From July ’64 to Ferguson” explored the impact of the Rochester race riots on individual lives and on our community as a whole. The panel included former Rochester City School Board President and Assistant to the Mayor Darryl Porter, musician Gap Mangione and the first woman and African American elected to the Monroe County Board of Supervisors (now known as the Monroe County Legislature) Constance Mitchell.

Leadership Rochester provides established and emerging leaders with knowledge and access to resources, enabling them to understand and respond to the quality of life challenges facing the Greater Rochester region. Rosanna graduated from the program in 2006. MCC will help host the program’s “Economic Development Day” in April.
